SamajSathi Child Safety Standards

These Child Safety Standards apply to the SamajSathi mobile application (Package Name: in.co.samajsathi) and the website https://samajsathi.co.in.

SamajSathi is a matrimonial platform operated by Mahendra Rakhecha. We are committed to providing a safe and respectful environment for all users and maintaining strict standards for the protection of children.

1. Adults-Only Matrimonial Platform

SamajSathi is intended only for individuals who are 18 years of age or older and legally eligible for marriage under applicable laws.

Profiles belonging to minors are strictly prohibited. If we discover or receive credible information that a profile belongs to a minor, the profile will be reviewed and may be immediately suspended or permanently removed.

2. Zero Tolerance for CSAE and CSAM

SamajSathi has zero tolerance for Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE) and Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM).

Users must not create, upload, publish, store, request, promote, share, transmit or distribute any content involving the sexual abuse, exploitation or endangerment of a child.

The following activities are strictly prohibited:

• Creating or operating a matrimonial profile for a minor.

• Uploading photographs, videos or other content involving the sexual exploitation or abuse of a child.

• Grooming, soliciting or attempting sexual communication with a minor.

• Requesting, sharing, storing or distributing CSAM.

• Promoting, facilitating or encouraging child exploitation or child trafficking.

• Using SamajSathi to contact, threaten, manipulate, exploit or endanger a child.

• Sharing links or directing users to websites or services containing CSAM.

• Any other conduct that violates applicable child-safety laws.

3. User Content and Conduct

Users are responsible for the profile details, photographs, messages and other information they upload or share through SamajSathi.

Users must not upload or communicate content that:

• Is sexually explicit, pornographic, abusive or exploitative.

• Harasses, threatens, intimidates or harms another person.

• Violates another person’s privacy or legal rights.

• Promotes violence, trafficking or any illegal activity.

• Contains or encourages CSAE or CSAM.

• Otherwise violates these Child Safety Standards or applicable laws.

4. Reporting Child-Safety Concerns

Users can report suspicious profiles, inappropriate content, abusive behaviour or child-safety concerns through the Report/Support option available in SamajSathi.

Please mention “Child Safety Report” in the email subject and provide the relevant profile ID, available screenshots and a description of the concern.

Do not download, copy, forward or redistribute suspected illegal child sexual abuse material while reporting it.

5. Review and Enforcement

SamajSathi will review genuine child-safety reports as quickly as reasonably possible.

If a profile, account or content is found to violate these standards, SamajSathi may take one or more of the following actions:

• Remove the violating content.

• Restrict access to platform features.

• Temporarily suspend the account.

• Permanently terminate the account.

• Preserve relevant records where legally required.

• Report suspected illegal activity to appropriate law-enforcement or child-safety authorities.

• Cooperate with valid legal requests from competent authorities.

Serious child-safety violations may result in immediate account termination without prior notice.

6. Handling CSAM

SamajSathi does not permit CSAM in any form.

When suspected CSAM is identified or properly reported, SamajSathi will take appropriate action, which may include restricting access to the content, removing the content, suspending the associated account, preserving legally required information and reporting the matter to the appropriate authorities in accordance with applicable laws.

Users must never attempt to investigate, save or redistribute suspected CSAM themselves.

7. Compliance with Child-Safety Laws

SamajSathi complies with applicable child-safety laws and regulations and cooperates with legally valid requests from law-enforcement and competent child-protection authorities.

These standards apply to all SamajSathi users, profiles, communications and uploaded content.

8. Privacy and Confidentiality

Child-safety reports will be handled with appropriate care and confidentiality.

Information related to a report may be shared with competent authorities when required for investigation, user protection or legal compliance.

Knowingly submitting false or malicious reports is prohibited and may result in action against the reporting account.

9. Updates to These Standards

SamajSathi may update these Child Safety Standards to reflect changes in law, safety requirements or platform functionality.

The latest version and revision date will remain publicly available on this page.
